Hi, Friend! Thank you so much for stopping by.
I’m Janet. I’m a Physician by day, a Mother of busy twins, and a Beauty, Fashion, Wellness and Lifestyle Blogger by night.
I’ve always appreciated style, which I credit to my mother. She taught me that education and hard work are the cornerstones of success, but knowing how to dress and having a sense of style are what sets you above the rest. You can have anything in life if you dress for it, and style is how you state who you are without having to speak.
She was a busy mom balancing family and career, and fashion was her creative outlet. When I was a child, I’d watch her peruse through fashion magazines, cut out pictures of the clothing she liked, and take those clippings to the mall to emulate the looks. At work, she was known as “Ms. Vogue.” Fashion was fun for her, and it became so for me as well.
Being 4’11”, I find it isn’t always easy to find stylish clothing for the petite. Petite Chic Mom is my journey as I explore the fashion world – showcasing styles and pieces suited for everyone, including those of us with long-leg envy. No matter what height, size, or shape, we all can have a wardrobe that complements our figures.
“Fashions fade, but style is eternal.”
As a mom of boy/girl twins, I also share my adventures in motherhood. Three years in so far, and it’s by far the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Yet, I cannot imagine a more rewarding. As a rare South Florida native (yes, born and raised here), I also blog about things to see and do around beautiful South Florida. I will never tire of these sunny skies, blue oceans, or green palm trees. I’ll also bring you along our family vacations to see the best places to visit with kids in tow. You bet I’m a #disneymom. Lastly, I love to host and entertain, decorate and design, dance and play musical instruments. If I wasn’t a physician using the left side of my brain at work, I swear I’d be using my right brain to be a professional lifestyle coach!
Working women, working moms, and busy stay-at-home moms, we don’t have to sacrifice beauty, style, or fashion. We can have it all.
So come along on this journey with me. I promise it will be fun. Life is so short! Remember to enjoy every moment!
