Hi, there! Thank you so much for stopping by.
I’m Janet. I’m a Physician by day, a Mother of busy twins, and a Beauty, Fashion, Wellness and Lifestyle Blogger by night.
I’ve always appreciated style, which I credit to my mother. She taught me that education and hard work are the cornerstones of success, but knowing how to dress and having a sense of style are what sets you above the rest. You can have anything in life if you dress for it, and style is how you state who you are without having to speak.
She was a busy mom balancing family and career, and fashion was her creative outlet. When I was a child, I’d watch her peruse through fashion magazines, cut out pictures of the clothing she liked, and take those clippings to the mall to emulate the looks. At work, she was known as “Ms. Vogue.” Fashion was fun for her, and it became so for me as well.
“Fashions fade, but style is eternal.”
Being 4’11”, I find it isn’t always easy to find stylish clothing for the petite. Petite Chic Mom is my journey as I explore the fashion world – showcasing styles and pieces suited for everyone, including those of us with long-leg envy. No matter what height, size, or shape, we all can have a wardrobe that complements our figures.
Working women, working moms, and busy stay-at-home moms, we don’t have to sacrifice beauty, style, or fashion. We can have it all.
As a mom of boy and girl twins, I also share my adventures in mommyhood. My husband and I had a very difficult time having children, as I suffered multiple miscarriages throughout six long years. However, we are now blessed with two little ones and I couldn’t be happier to share in the joys and craziness that comes with motherhood!
As a South Florida native (yep, born and raised), I also blog about things to see and do around South Florida. I’ll also include great travel tips and places for family vacations, including the most magical place on Earth, of course. #disneymom
So, if you’re ready to add style and chicness to your wardrobe, come along and explore with me! Fashion is supposed to be fun!
Life is too short. Enjoy every moment!
